In Design Practice Example

In our media studies class yesterday, we practiced with Adobe In Design. We learned how to use the basic tools on the program in order to make two pages of a magazine. The program has guidelines placed so the whole picture or text is able to be seen when printed. We also learned to insert pictures and to not make them cover up the text. Then like in a real magazine, we were able to make two columns. We also had to justify the text so there was no jagged edges. There was also a title of the article to be made and we made the title bigger and wider so that it would fill the text box to the fullest. Although this program is more complicated than Publisher or Word, it gets the job done in a more effective way and comes out cleaner and more professional. If I had to chose between the three, I would probably chose In Design because of how much better the pages turn out and how you are also able to view your two pages side by side when working.
